Pratibha Hostel is equipped with Kirloskar Simple-Green Diesel Generator. In the event of electrical outage, the generator is switched ON manually by the hostel management. The generator is capable of providing electricity to the entire hostel (minus air-conditioners) during the electrical outage. Pratibha Hostel management reserves the decision on when to start and stop the generator.
